We had been staying somewhere else in Stratford upon Avon, due to be 2 nights, but it was so awful, we decided to head to the Lakes a day early, on the Friday, as we were due to go into our self catering accommodation on the Saturday. We booked last minute at the Ravenstone Manor and so, so happy we did. From the second we arrived, we were treated so well by the amazing staff. We had hot drinks by the open fire. We had a lovely evening meal, followed by a walk down to the lake and beautiful Church in close proximity to the hotel. We had a hot chocolate on our return. We slept well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning; again the staff were incredible. Loved this hotel and would definitely recommend to everyone.

We loved our stay, very comfy beds/rooms, the bar area was lovely, we sat next to the real fire and had dinner, perfect end to the day after a long walk.
Breakfast was also very nice, good selection of food and quick friendly service.
Set in 2 acres of tranquil wooded gardens. The charming rooms have TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and many have breathtaking views of the valley and fells.

Such a beautiful place, so much to do and see. We took our little dog and she loved it! It’s the perfect place to take your dog. Down by Derwenter lake was perfect and there’s a boat that stops at several points around the lake if you don’t fancy the 10 miles walk around the lake. Will definitely be going back.

Keswick is a pleasant town in the Lake District beside Derwent Water. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. There is a market on Thursdays. The Pencil Museum is worth a visit, small but full of interesting facts on the manufacture and use of all types of pencil. The circular boat trip around Derwent Water is a pleasant way to spend an hour.

The countryside around Keswick is beautiful.
The countryside around Keswick is beautiful. The views from Catbells are fantastic and it is a relatively easy climb, but VERY busy and almost a procession. The Pencil Museum was brilliant, really interesting and well done, we had a quiz sheet to complete, and it enhanced the experience. The town was busy, but not unpleasantly so, there are lots of independent shops and cafes. We also went to a play at the Theatre at the Lake, which is a lovely venue. The Keswick Museum is small but interesting.

The Alhambra cinema is a local gem.
The Alhambra cinema is a local gem. Every outdoor wear brand on the planet is there. Shopping area pedestrianised. Try Bryson's bakery and restaurant. Lots of parking (pay and display) but this was out of season. Close to Derwentwater..
Incredibly well run by the host and her son, both of whom were extremely helpful (and big thanks to her son for coming to let us check in when we arrived outside of check in time). They also let us leave bags for the day when we checked out which allowed us to explore for the day.
AMAZING breakfast - “award winning” and plated beautifully. Even did dishes such as haddock kedgeree which we didn’t see anywhere else.
Really nice comfortable rooms. Great location right next to keswick town centre and 10 min walk from the lake.
The location is really great as you have a beautiful Bassenthwaite lake nearby. It's also a short drive from Dodd wood which offers trails for all abilities, overlooking the beautiful. Keswick time is just 10 minutes drive and the lake of Derwentwater is also about a 20 minute drive. The facilities of the hotel are great, the restaurant is very good with a good choice even for vegetarians. The breakfast is sumptuous and served by very friendly staff. The restaurant is big and offers great views of the surrounding hills.
We had a lovely stay here. The place is in a great location if you don’t have a car as it’s only a 15 minute walk into the town centre and the bus stop is a 2 min walk away. The room we had was lovely and clean. The owner was very nice and have prioritised the safety of guests by having self check in and only a certain number of guests at a time in for breakfast (you have to pick a time the night before). The breakfast was delicious. I can’t fault a thing about this place and can’t wait to stay again!
The apartment is within a 2-3 minute walk of Keswick town centre giving quick access to many restaurants/pubs/shops. Despite the close proximity the flat is in a quiet residential location opposite St John's church which can be seen from the main living room. There is an allocated parking space at the rear of the property which is a bonus. It is well appointed with good amenities and kitchen has all the basics you should need.
Beautiful little quaint B&B centrally located in Keswick only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Andy & Tracey are wonderful hosts and provided exceptional service. The room was comfortable, warm, clean and cosy with everything you need. The Breakfast was stunning, traditional Cumbrian Breakfast with fresh, quality produce. Cannot recommend enough! Great for couples and solo travellers and location is ideal!
Crow Park Hotel is lovely and unique with beautiful architecture and exceptional views. Our room overlooked the lake and gave us inspiration to walk around it the next day. The bed was comfortable (we slept very well) and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpful (they helped us plan our hike). All in all it was a great experience.
Breakfast always delicious. Paul was very friendly and helpful in recommending us good restaurants and walking routes. Despite the predictably awful weather in the lakes in November we had a fab time exploring Derwentwater.
The B&B is close to Keswick town centre, easy to find and has lovely views of the River Greta and Skiddaw.
Location was great as we were there to hike Sacffle Pike, and not too far (about 15mins drive) from the nearest town which was Keswick. It is a little bit secluded away from any shops/eateries so you'll have to have a car or use the bus which was quite frequent. The hotel also has a pub which had a great atmosphere
The bed was comfortable and the view from the room was amazing.
Great location right in the centre of Keswick and a short walk to the lake.
We were messaged prior the stay that there would be no cooked breakfast due to staffing issues, but in the end cooked breakfast was provided which was nice.
Central quiet location for Keswick
The surroundings rooms and restaurant were very good and it was lovely to relax in comfortable lounges. The grounds are lovely and it’s in a lovely quiet location despite being 5 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Keswick town centre
We liked the location, nice 15 minute walk into Keswick . The apartment (Honister)was very spacious and the buffet breakfast was lovely. Staff couldn't do enough for you especially Howard on reception, he was very courteous, extremely helpful and is a credit to the hotel .
Location was5 minutes from Keswick town centre. Hosts were terrific, friendly and extremely knowledgable of the area. Hotel was spotless. Breakfast varied and top quality. Definitely going’s back soon.
The couple that run the guest house are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient
The property is nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable and in a great position in the centre of Keswick
